By activating the power of the mind & opening your heart ...
By restoring energy flow throughout your body...
You begin to feel better!
Each dimension of health--body-mind-heart-spirit is interconnected -- improvement in one area supports improvement in each of the other areas. Typically people start their holistic health journey when something dramatic or traumatic happens. As you seek to heal you gradually incorporate all aspects of healthy lifestyle--from cell to soul, as Sara Gottfried, MD is fond of saying--to support yourself in recovering from illness or injury as well as moving steadfastly towards optimal healing and wellness.
Our approach is integrative. We support the integration of all healing modalities including conventional Western medicine that saves lives and relieves misery and pain from acute and chronic conditions; as well as complementary approaches that treat the whole person.
Our approach is holistic or whole person. We know health is multidimensional, dynamic, and functional. We don't want to healthy just to be healthy. Rather, we aspire to be fully self-expressed in our emotions and creative endeavors as well as engaged in meaningful work. We seek authentic and loving relationships as well as to be in integrity with our individual core values. As we work towards living a full rich life, we learn and become skilled in the physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual realms of health.
Mastery of each dimension of health requires new knowledge, skills, and shifts in your perspective that we promise will occur as you take each course offered in the BODY-MIND-HEART-SPIRIT program. Each course has very specific outcomes or benefits; each course consists of time-tested and research-based evidence for the effectiveness of what you will learn.
Each class in the BODY-MIND-HEART-SPIRIT program is offered in collaboration with conventional and holistic health care providers such as bodyworkers, acupuncturists, medical doctors, and therapists of all kinds.

BODY With enhanced body awareness, you can discern physical sensations, the sense of groundedness, as well as the delightful sensation of “flow.”
MIND Mental awareness includes being conscious of your passing thoughts, your habitual thoughts, and the messages from your “inner voice.”
The heart is a symbol for connection. Because the heart receives messages from itself as well as from other parts of the body and responds accordingly, it serves as an apt metaphor for connection, to ourselves and with others.
Think of "spirit" in terms of the life force that flows through you via the energy systems of the body. And think of spirit as the vibrations that your body receives via nature, music, people, and even the more distant vibrations from further distances on earth and beyond. The ways to work with spirit is with energy healing modalities and self care practices.
