Sandy Lundahl is an accomplished public health professional with more than 25 years of experience in developing programs with public health and mental health professionals.
She loves to learn and has graduate degrees in public health and in instructional systems design.
Her extensive public health experience includes cancer control, cardiac risk reduction, mental health and well-being, substance abuse prevention and treatment, suicide prevention, complementary and integrative medicine.

| Sandy is a holistic health educator and a modern-day meditation teacher who blends traditional Eastern meditation practices with contemporary, research-based Western contemplative practices. She is a certified teacher of the Enneagram in the Narrative Tradition.

| Since 1983, Sandy has designed and taught classes in all aspects of holistic health, including nutrition and weight management, physical fitness, stress management, developing a prosperity consciousness, gemstone jewlery making, meditation, and personal growth and development.

Hello! This is Sandy and I thank you for visiting my website. In addition to my health education practice, I have launched several community-based learning communities, including the Bowie-Crofton Holistic Community and the latest exciting, innovative, and stimulating venture being Over Age 50: Conversations that Matter.
I am particularly passionate and experienced in working with men and women over age 50 who are ready to step into the full, rich wholeness of their lives. Most recently, I wrote a book called Flourish! 4 Steps to Release Your Inner Sage describing a NEW way of learning from the inside out.
One of the best tools that I've discovered for deepening your self-understanding is the Enneagram. Based on 9 fundamentally different patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting... the Enneagram provides a universal language of human behavior and core motivation.

Sandy is a natural coordinator and loves to bring together people with common interests. Over the years she has created groups such as Growing Together and The Learning Exchange.
She is the founder of the Bowie-Crofton Holistic Community. Formed in 1995, the community offers free seminars to the public, networking events for holistic practitioners, and a local Bowie-Crofton Holistic Resources Directory.

Sandy's family includes two sons: Mike graduated from Tulane University and is serving his country in the Navy; Dan graduated with advanced degrees in computer and systems engineering, is married and working for the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab.
Her husband, John Dutrow, is retired from the Prince George's County Health Department. He is focused on his mission in life—creating play-based, nonleague youth sports programs to meet the physical, mental, emotional, social, and even the spiritual developmental needs of today's youth.
